  • Arkadia 401 East Jefferson Street Viroqua, WI, 54665 United States (map)

Lecture by Robert Karp (aka Robert Karbelnikoff)

Sunday, October 5, from 7 to 9 pm at Arkadia (the Commons)

Workshop by Robert Karp, Jan Ranck and Clay Ruby                               Monday, October 6 from 9 am to 12 pm at Arkadia

This lecture will seek to help us understand and bring us closer to that spiritual being known as Michael. In particular, we will focus on Michael's capacity to embody the laws of dynamic polarity, meaning the ability to hold in balance, and bring into harmony,  realities that appear to be opposites or in opposition to one another. Using this lens, we will especially focus on Michael's relationship to western civilization, human individuality, and to the forces of modern technology.

In the workshop the next day, Jan, Clay and I will elaborate on the mysteries of dynamic polarity as these express themselves in Michael's relation to the seven classical planets of our solar system. With the help of Jan Ranck, we will use eurythmy to explore in particular the way Michael works to harmonize the forces of Mars and Venus.

Goodwill donations appreciated. All Proceeds will go to the Anthroposophical Society in Viroqua
